This is beautiful. I would like to calmly suggest that perhaps making a joke about a negative cultural idiom that you may not understand(I do not understand the state of things in the Netherlands for example, I don't claim to- I've got no clue though I do like asking, I'm very curious) might also hurt very much and it might anger someone who has been a part of that. I realize it was supposed to be over the top... I also appreciate things that are over the top... but I know I've had a few discussions with people from Europe with varying attitudes on the matter, and we see things from very different POV. We can never see things from the same POV fully because we grew up in two very different places, but we can show some respect. I was very angry, but at the root, I was asking for a little more respect than you showed and I also had this idea that you were a white American which made me feel gross. This is a compliment, you speak better English than many English and American people I know. Well, either a compliment or a damn shame on English and Americans. The reason for that episode of South Park was to show that the owners of the Redskins had no respect for the race they used as a mascot... being a mascot isn't honorable, you know? But it's a much deeper disrespect than the one you were referencing.
